Study Coordinator (Aging Brain Center)
Job Description
Join the Aging Brain Center at the Marcus Institute for Aging Research, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, as a Study Coordinator. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a research team focused on improving the lives of older adults and their families through cutting-edge research on cognitive disorders of aging. Under the guidance of Dr. Sharon Inouye and Dr. Eva Schmitt, you'll oversee the conduct of multi-site studies, ensuring their smooth operation and compliance with ethical standards. Responsibilities
- Monitor and track study activities, ensuring confidentiality and human subject protection.
- Support the implementation and coordination of studies, including scheduling and managing multi-site team meetings via Zoom.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures, maintain operations manuals, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Assist with IRB submissions, adverse event reports, and progress reports.
- Conduct data collection with high attention to detail and adapt to new technologies and data capture systems.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 2 years of research experience.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent writing, communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic data collection tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge and respect for subjects’ rights and HIPAA regulations.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities and new technologies.
