Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Healthy Aging Initiative)

Hebrew SeniorLife’s Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow for their Healthy Aging Initiative. This position involves supporting a longitudinal cohort study aimed at improving older adults' lives through research. The role includes study implementation, data management, analysis, and the production of scholarly articles under the mentorship of Dr. Alvaro Pascual-Leone and other senior researchers.

• Develop and implement primary data collection projects and analytical tools.
• Conduct analyses and prepare manuscripts for publication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to execute research plans and produce reports.
• Present research findings and provide mentorship to research assistants.

• PhD in a gerontological field such as gerontology, psychology, nursing, or public health, with less than 3 years postdoctoral experience.
• Demonstrated experience in aging research and proficiency in statistical and research methods.
• Strong writing skills and a history of publishing peer-reviewed articles.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research tools; familiarity with NVivo and Dedoose is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
